麻省理工學(xué)院150周年慶祝會(huì)也是美國第一所建筑學(xué)校成立慶祝會(huì)。與麻省理工學(xué)院接壤的查爾斯河上眾多設(shè)施是一系列跨學(xué)科工程杰作。麻省理工學(xué)院“流動(dòng)檔案”館是Gedemas Urbonas和NADAAA事務(wù)所之間的一個(gè)合作項(xiàng)目，旨在查爾斯河上建造一個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)，提供多種功能，如屏幕、標(biāo)識(shí)、“光”結(jié)構(gòu)、天際線等等，同時(shí)作為展示麻省理工學(xué)院從CAVS開始的歷史研究成果的基地——從歷史檔案中檢索和顯示所有文件。

Celebrating 150 years of MIT was also the occasion to celebrate the first School of Architecture in the United States. A series of cross-disciplinary works resulted in numerous installations bordering MIT on the Charles River. This installation, a collaboration between Gediminas Urbonas and NADAAA, was to produce a structure on the Charles that could serve multiple functions: as screen, as logo, as “l(fā)ight” structure, as skyline, and among other things, as a base for the revelation of historical research at MIT emerging from CAVS-- all documents retrieved and displayed from the historical archives.
